They meet on different days of the week, in different places, so you can pick one that suits you. The focus is on knowing each other well, drawing newcomers into community, spending time in the Bible, praying together, and encouraging each other as we go into each of our different contexts – whether that be in the home or in a workplace.

Prayer

Open Church

We hold a drop-in time for coffee, chat and prayer during term-time Thursdays 10:00-13:00. Open to all.

Life Groups

The church members meet together to worship and pray and discern God’s leading for us and to make decisions. All members have equal standing and are able to express their personal views on what they believe God might be saying to the church.

If you would like to discuss becoming a member, please speak with one of the elders or contact the Church Office.

It can be a lot of fun and also helps us create a welcoming space at Haven Green where anyone entering from the community can be confident of God’s love for them.

There are plenty of opportunities to serve from gardening to media to children's work. If you have a gift you’d like to use to serve the church community, please get in touch.

A good place to start would be coming along to our morning service. If you would like someone to meet and greet you at the door or would like to find out more about our service, please do contact us.  You can find out more about us on our Vision page.

We regularly have church family lunches after the service which are a great opportunity to mingle and fellowship together.  In addition, we regularly hold a 'newcomers hub' for those new to the church to meet some of our church leaders, to learn more about Haven Green Baptist Church and to ask questions.
